About me
My name is Micheal Fields, and I'm a graphic designer born and raised in Nashville TN. I strive to make clear-cut designs that engage people while learning as much as possible as I go. I have experience in creating graphics as well as animating them using tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, illustrator, Premiere Pro, and other programs like them.

Education

2014-2018
Nashville school of the Arts (High School)
I went to Nashville school of the Arts for my time in highschool, though the majority of my time wasn't in art itself, rather doing choir, but at the last semester of my time there, I did take an art class which started me where I am now.
2018-2020
Nashville state community college
During my time at community college, I studied art studio. The last few semesters was during the time of the pandemic, making studies a little bit more difficult, especially when most of the artwork was physical media, but I was able to push through. I graduated an associates in Studio Art.
2020-2023
Tennessee State University
This was easily my best time in terms of studying art. During my time here I had so many supportive professors who were willing to teach me a lot in terms of design, as I went into the degree originally wanting to be a digital artist and came out inspired and raring to be a graphic designer. I learned to make marking materials in print & digital designs, and I took classes in communications, where I was able to work with comm majors in making graphics for a TV show. I was able to make animations and even learn to create and animate using blender. I graduated with a B.S. in studio art (graphic design emphasis) and graduated with Honors: Summa Cum Laude.
